This
painting was presented to a "Bush-Pilot" who regularly flew
over these scenes. From an aerial view, he often admired the annual
show of yellow and purple wild flowers. The clouds rolling over the
crater rim, the unpredictable weather, the light and colours are unique
to anything else in East Africa
